Our builders can install all major brands of above ground pools. And, most pools do require a permit and zoning approval before installation can begin.
The Kozel team is ready to assist you every step of the way from drawings, permits, earthwork, backfilling, equipment installation, and electrical and plumbing needs, too.
GET A QUOTEYour new pool’s lifespan will depend on the quality of the foundation, so we use excavators, cultivators, and vibrating plates to ensure a solid, level surface.
Electrical service is another key component. Some pools simply require a power source, while others require updating the electrical service to handle the pump and filter system.
Plumbing is another, especially if your pool includes a gas heater. Your system can also require a vacuum breaker, new PVC lines, and a shut-off valve as well.
Send us your pool and equipment links to start the estimate process. And include some site photos so we can determine the amount of leveling required. If you’re unsure of the site conditions, we can provide a project consultation, with the fee being credited back when you contract with Kozel, LLC to install your pool.
These are the most common above ground pools available today, but please don’t think this is an easy project for the DIYer. The cost of a pool installation can be 2-3 times the cost of the pool, because of the required building permit and inspections. Installation usually starts at around $1500 and can go up quickly depending on the site, accessibility, and the plumbing/electrical work required.
Base preparation: Typically runs from $1200 – $2500 depending on the soil, levelness, and required soil compaction.
Pool installation: These costs can range from $1500 – $5000, depending on size. A good rule of thumb is $100 per foot of the pool’s length. Materials such as sand, pavers, ground fabric, and delivery costs can add another $500 – $600.
If a gravel base with compaction is required, that can add another $800 – $3000.
Removing/reinstalling an existing deck for a new pool can run from $800 – $2500. (We must have room to install the new pool components.)
Preparing drawings and obtaining permits will cost $1200 – $1500.
Electrical work can range from $3000 – $6000 which includes trenching, new electrical lines, grounding, and 220V circuit for the heater.
Plumbing work can range from $600 – $6000 for the new gas lines, valves, and heater installation service.
Additional options such as stairs, corner guards, and wall foam start at $200.
Everything is the same like above ground pool, but extra for excavation work.
Excavation work for a semi-in ground swimming pool starts at $4000, and increases based on the pool size.
Excavation material haul away rates are $800 per truckload.
It is easy to build this kind of pools, but anyway most difficult part to level your site.
average price for installation $800-$1500
ground leveling -$1200 – $2500
