Polymer fencing is specially designed for horses and is engineered for maximum visibility. This fencing is basically the same as high tensile fencing, except that the polymer fencing has a white poly coating over the high tensile wire to make it more visible. Polymer wire can also conduct electricity. 

Woven wire is specifically designed to keep animals in or out. A tight grid of wires nailed securely on sturdy posts can keep something as small as a rabbit out and or keep an animal as big as a horse in. The only way animals can get through is if the woven wire fence is actually broken.
