• Darker colors, such as golden oak or Red Chestnut, may become hot to the touch after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. This effect can be mitigated by using umbrellas, awnings, or other shade structures. 
• Loose dirt can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Test any cleaning products on an inconspicuous area before applying them to the vinyl surface. 
• DO NOT paint the vinyl fencing. Spray-on sunscreens or insect repellents may discolor the product’s surface. It is recommended that such products be applied either indoors, off the deck, away from the fencing and railings, or in a manner that will prevent overspray from coming into contact with the vinyl. 
• Avoid using rubber mats on vinyl decking as they may discolor the deck surface.
